I am sorry to say

That I am not going to do the next swap I am very upset that people are not sending their packages and not returning emails. The swap has been over for 2 months, April 18th was the deadline and it is now June 6th, and I still have about 10 people who have not heard from or gotten anything from their pals. I am very disapointed.
The people who played by the rules were great and it is almost enough for me to host again but it is killing me that there are people who spent lots of time and money getting thier packages out on time to get nothing in return. If I had the money I would send them something myself. I am really sorry for those of you who did not get a package I would say keep emailing your pal but I feel it is a lost cause they won't be kind enough to reply. If someone wants to take over that is fine and I will give you a list of all the rotton swappers.
There are 2 people that I want to thank for sending 2 packages Mary Twitchell, and Trisia Hesse-Tresider thank you so much you went above and beyond.
If anyone wants to be an angle for these wonderful people to at least get something small that would be great just send me an email.

Cassandra If you would host I would help. You did a great job. I really think that it is hard to keep every one on track. You can only do what you can the rest is up to them.

Cassandra I think there are definately people willing to be angels. People who got their packages may not be watching this blog or the Ravelry as much - is there any way of sending out a general e-mail? Or should we just spread the word ourselves?

I totally get it. I did not rejoin the International Tote Exchange because I sent my package on time but did not receive one until way past the due date leaving me out of half the fun. And that one had lots more rules too.

What about asking for a phone number in the sign up that would only be used if the person finked out? The Headmaster would be the only one to have these.

Or post the list of names of people who did not follow through and ban them from any more swaps?

You have done a superb job with this group. Thank you so much for all your coordinating and organizing and for just being such a great person.

I think getting phone numbers is a good idea also in the sock kit swap they started in the beginning collecting things just in case. That way not one person had to do a whole other package. I liked doing it but I do think it was a little spendy doing two. I also agree you have done a great job and I have really enjoyed it.

I would hate to see it go away. I finally recieved my package a week or so ago and will post pics shortly. It was still fun even with the delay!
